Another week on End Credits means another superhero movie. At least that’s the way it seems sometimes, but this week it happens to be true with a review of Spider-Man: Far From Home. This week on End Credits, it’s us, and it’s not us. Maybe it’s both. Who can say if we are who we say we are, or if we’re shadows of ourselves tethered to another reality? This week’s episode of End Credits will be tearing it up, not tearing it apart. You may be thinking that there’s not much of a difference between those two things, but fans of The Room know one is very, very bad. On this episode of the show, we will review the movie based on the making of The Room, James Franco’s The Disaster Artist, and we’ll talk about some of the latest items from the world of movie news including real-life drama for a director, a trip to space for another, and 75 years of what is maybe the greatest film ever made. Continue reading “End Credits Show Notes for Thursday December 14, 2017”
End Credits Show Notes for Thursday July 20, 2017
This week on End Credits we’ve got female issues. Or rather other people have female issues and we have to talk about them. For instance, the man that gave us Pulp Fiction, and The Hateful Eight is tired of made-up violence and wants to tackle real life incidents of monstrous murder, in this case against a Hollywood actress. And then, one critic thinks a made-up test to promote better women characters in film is destroying movies, and Disney can’t find two Middle Eastern people that can sing and dance and act out of seven billion humans on Planet Earth. And we’ll top all that off with review of a film that’s a new spin on an old theme. Continue reading “End Credits Show Notes for Thursday July 20, 2017”
