This week on End Credits, this is unreal. Or is it? The time has come to ask all the questions we can’t really answer with the new is-it-a-documentary documentary You Can See Everything, which you can see in a theatre near you. Before that, we will go to the future by examining the past as we wrap up our look back at the films of 1976 with an underappreciated sci-fi flick.
This Wednesday, November 4, at 3 pm, Adam A. Donaldson and Tim Phillips will discuss:
6 For ’76: Logan’s Run. One year before Star Wars, Michael Anderson directed a sci-fi movie about one young man that dared to challenge an authoritarian system… In this movie Michael York stars as Logan, a “Sandman” who hunts those you refuse to ritualistically end their life at the age of 30 in the idyllic domed city on post-apocalyptic Earth. To wrap up our “6 For ’76” series, we will tackle the highly influential, but often forgotten, Logan’s Run.
REVIEW: You Can See Everything (2026). There’s been no shortage of examination on Elizabeth Holmes, the Theranos founder now doing a decade in prison for fraud, but have said that, was Nathan Fielder really going to be the guy to break new ground? Maybe. Coming off it’s third successful weekend, we will dig into what might be the movie of the year, a documentary (?!) about Fielder’s efforts to understand the woman who stole billions of dollars selling a medical machine that didn’t work. So does You Can See Everything deliver on its promise?
End Credits is on CFRU 93.3 fm and cfru.ca Wednesday at 3 pm.
