This week on End Credits, we’re back! Refreshed from summer vacation, we’re ready to tackle the fourth and final entry in “Hot Hathaway Summer” with Anne’s latest movie The End of Oak Street, which you can now see in a theatre near you. What We’ve Been Watching. As you may have noticed, End Credits has been on vacation the last few weeks, so we had some downtime. Yes, on this show we review movies semi-professionally, but we also enjoy them recreationally so on this first show back we’re going to talk about some of the movies we’ve been watching in our spare time, from a Columbian movie on that curated streaming site to the underappreciated entry in “Hot Hathaway Summer”.
REVIEW: The End of Oak Street (2026). Imagine waking up one morning to find that your idyllic suburban neighbourhood was transported back in time to the era when dinosaurs roamed the Earth. What would you do? No phones, no electricity, no protection and no way out! David Robert Mitchell, director of It Follows and Under the Silver Lake, takes a left turn into Amblin-style family adventure (courtesy of producer J.J. Abrams), but if you’re looking for a late-summer movie that mixes fun and suspense, can you do better than The End of Oak Street?
