This Wednesday, September 2, at 3 pm, Adam A. Donaldson and Tim Phillips will discuss:

Fall Movie Preview. It’s the most wonderful time of the year! To this day, Hollywood saves it’s most daring, interesting, and yes, controversial, movies for the end of the last third of the year, and now that time is finally here!! From highly anticipated video game movies to foul-mouthed assassins on Easter Island to Robert Pattinson doing another funny voice, we will talk about some of our hotly anticipated movies coming soon in the next couple of months.

REVIEW: Tony (2026). Before he was a famous chef, TV host and celebrated foodie, Anthony Bourdain was Tony. Set in 1975, and based on about 50 pages in Bourdain’s best selling memoir Kitchen Confidential, Tony (played by Dominic Sessa) follows Bourdain in his first kitchen job at a quaint seafood restaurant in a New England tourist town. Directed by Matt Johnson, whose last movie was Nirvanna The Band The Show The MovieTony tries to lampshade a lot of conventions of the bio-pic, but is it a good time at the movies?

End Credits is on CFRU 93.3 fm and cfru.ca Wednesday at 3 pm.
